Charissa Thompson
Thompson moved on from FOX Sports in 2010, and was able to double as host of both Versus as well as Yahoo Sports. She anchored Versus' NHL studio coverage and also recorded web-based video for the highly trafficked Yahoo platform, leading the website's coverage of high-profile events, including The 2010 Winter Olympics, FIFA World Cup, Super Bowl XLV as well as the BCS National Championship. The success in both venues has led her to joining ESPN in August 2011, where she was named one of the hosts on ESPN's newest evening show "Numbers Never lie." In the following year, she was promoted into "SportsNation," she enjoyed a long-lasting run of success. Her departure from the network came when FS1 launched the following month in Los Angeles, May 2013 returning to Los Angeles. Thompson who is a keen sports fan at heart has shown impressive abilities in transitioning to the realm of entertainment TV. After several occasions as a part-time host and promotions, she was appointed a permanent co-host for the evening Hollywood newspaper "Extra," in June 2014. Her filming took place in Universal Studios and also worked on award shows, celeb parties and various other gatherings.
