Lori Greiner

Lori Greiner (born Lori Husman) is an American TV host and entrepreneur. From 2009 on, she's appeared as a Shark or as an investor in Shark Tank on ABC's reality TV show about business Shark Tank. She became interested in handmade jewelry when she was in college, continuing to make and sell the items until she came across the idea to create a reusable plastic earrings organizer and then showing it to females on the streets to observe their reactions. She registered her invention, and then began to sell the product online and offline. Then she added more items. Her portfolio comprises more than 1000 success-oriented products, and 120 US patents, and other international. Her keen senses are matched by an acute sense of business, and is able to instantly determine if a particular product will become a hit or a failure. That translates into an 85% success rate of her ventures. Being of the belief that if a person gets lucky enough to achieve success, it is imperative to take action to make a difference for others, she annually makes gifts to various charities.
