Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-Spanish and half-English woman was born April 16, 1996, in Miami Florida. She is half English one-half Spanish. Her parents include Dennis Alan Taylor an ex-banker and Jennifer Marina Joy psychologist. Her father is Argentine with Scottish-English descent. Her mother hails from Spanish and English origin. Taylor Joy has four brothers and sisters, with one coming in each parent's previous marriages. Buenos Aires was her home until she turned six, and the family relocated into Victoria within London. According to Taylor-Joy, this removal was extremely difficult for her and she refused to master English to the hope of returning to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school following the moved from Northlands. Then she went to Queen's Gate School and studied ballet. She dropped out of the high school aged 16 in order to concentrate on her acting profession. Taylor-Joy was born to be an actress from a very young age. She realized her dream when Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a modeling job.
